Uploading files to your web hosting service will require an FTP program like Filezilla, or by means of cPanel (go to File Manager and use Upload Files) which comes with most web hosting packages these days. You can also use upload managers from old - and dare I say primitive - hosting services, though they do not allow you to upload an entire folder, hence, you might end up uploading each and every file individually.

4. Extract the uploaded Wordpress installer, again via FTP or via cPanel. Wordpress will take care of the rest.

5. Create a MySQL database via cPanel. This database will be dedicated to Wordpress.

6. Look for the file wp-config-sample.php and rename it to wp-config.php.

7. Open the newly renamed wp-config.php with Notepad. Edit the following lines:
