We've never been big fans of marketing using social networking sites.

If were completely honest were probably a bit unsure as to what social networking really is and how on earth we could possibly make money out of it. This is not because we are stupid or don't have a brain but through lack of quality information.

One of those sites that we believed had no purpose for us was Yahoo Answers until now!

Well Samantha & Dominic's jury is still out on this one but we certainly couldn't ignore the rate of traffic that we have created from it. Plus we were also becoming quite obsessive by the amount of money that was available for us to tap into.

So after taking lots of advice from others and getting a bit of help in we mastered the art of setting up a profile with Yahoo Answers and making a profit from it. Its very interesting even if it did take us a while to get our head around it!

So I built the profile and answered just two questions and left it alone. One of the questions that we answered was "Can you recommend a hosting provider for my first website". I answered the question in about two short and to the point paragraphs and then added details about a review I had written about Hostgator saying how much it had helped me. I also included my details at the bottom to give it a more friendly touch and left it at that and forgot about it.

The next day I woke up and six different people had seen it and had each subscribed to Hostgator via my link. I then got other traffic from it including people joining my free Ezine, following me on twitter and sales from my products.

Don't get me wrong were not talking mass amounts of income here just a good source of traffic with sales to go with them.
